Since 1990, Water.org has worked with local partners to bring clean water and sanitation to communities in developing countries, employing innovative and traditional technologies, and sometimes microfinancing. WaterCredit provides loans to communities which require access to credit to pay for their own water systems. Loan paybacks are used to fund new projects. Sponsors include individuals, foundations, and corporations.
